Embracing Creativity
About Cincy Street Meet
Cincy Street Meet started with a simple idea: Cincinnati’s creative community needed something different.
Nine years ago, Cincinnati photographer Adam Delane created Cincy Street Meet after attending photography and modeling networking events that often felt like more of the same. The same looks. The same concepts. The same safe ideas. He wanted to create an event that challenged photographers, models, videographers, makeup artists, designers, and other creatives to show up differently, connect with people outside of their normal circles, and push their creativity further than they normally would.
Today, Cincy Street Meet has grown into Cincinnati’s premier annual creative networking event, bringing together more than 200 creators each year at the end of September.
But this isn’t your typical photography meetup.
Cincy Street Meet is an open-collaboration experience built around creativity, networking, and opportunity. Photographers, models, cinematographers, videographers, makeup artists, designers, painters, performers, and creatives from every genre come together to meet, collaborate, create, and learn from one another.
And around here, basic isn’t really our thing.
We encourage people to bring the idea they thought might be “too much.” Bring the dramatic makeup. Bring the wild wardrobe. Bring the body paint, colored smoke, props, lighting, costumes, and concepts that make people stop and look twice. This is a place to experiment without worrying about playing it safe.
But the pictures are only part of what makes Cincy Street Meet special.
The relationships built here can last much longer than the event itself.
A photographer meets a model they continue creating with. A makeup artist connects with someone who needs them for an upcoming project. A creator gets introduced to someone who opens a door they didn’t know existed. Collaborations turn into relationships, relationships turn into opportunities, and those opportunities can lead to paid work, exposure, new projects, new audiences, and growth far beyond one September afternoon.
That has always been one of the GREATEST purposes behind Cincy Street Meet.
We don’t just want you to leave with great content. We want you to leave with new people in your network, new ideas in your head, and new possibilities for where your creativity can take you.
It’s also a place to learn. With hundreds of creatives working side by side, you’re surrounded by different styles, techniques, equipment, perspectives, and levels of experience. Ask questions. Watch how somebody else creates. Try something you’ve never done before. Share what you know. Cincy Street Meet was built around the belief that Cincinnati’s creative community becomes stronger when creatives stop treating one another only as competition and start seeing the value in collaboration.
Whether you’re an established professional, building your portfolio, exploring a new creative lane, or simply looking for people who take creativity as seriously as you do, there’s a place for you here.
Come ready to network. Come ready to create. Come ready to push the boundaries.
Because Cincy Street Meet isn’t just about what you create that day.
It’s about what can happen because you showed up.
